Vintage fun and a giveaway reminder

I must share with you something we did on Saturday. We visited a Betty blue eyes vintage market in Leigh on sea. We had a little trouble finding it at first so after a little cursing at the sat Nav we found it and such treasures were found.

There were some beautiful dresses from Beverley goes, my little girl needs to grow into them but she will look pretty as a picture in them. I love the bias binding edges and pocket details. She had loads of other dresses I had to resist. Luckily she sells through folksy. Also this has spurred me on to book up for the dress making course I have seen, I would love to make little girls dresses from the huge collection of fabrics that I have.

The tea rooms didn't disappoint wonderful cakes served on mis matching china and just look at that beautiful old bar.

I also found this vintage sheet for £5  it's a single sheet so it quite big.

And the crochet hook is just lovely to use and looks very pretty.

I hooked up this cute vintage collar very quickly it's from lulu.

Don't forget about the giveaway it's still open until the 9th September.
